The Role
As Attendance & Pastoral Support Administrator you will manage daily attendance procedures and work closely with Heads of Year the safeguarding team and senior leaders to ensure accurate monitoring and timely follow-up.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing daily registers and first-day absence calls
Monitoring attendance trends and preparing weekly reports
Liaising with parents and carers regarding absence concerns
Supporting Education Welfare referrals and documentation
Maintaining accurate attendance records on the school MIS
Assisting with reintegration meetings and pastoral documentation
Supporting safeguarding record-keeping in line with statutory requirements
You will be expected to handle sensitive conversations professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.
