Summary
The IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the organizations technology foundation. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the design deployment and ongoing management of hybrid infrastructurespanning on-premises environments and major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence across Microsoft 365 ServiceNow cybersecurity and service delivery ensuring high availability performance and compliance. With a strong focus on innovation cost efficiency and risk mitigation this role ensures seamless integration of technology with business objectives while supporting digital transformation initiatives and maintaining alignment with global standards such as ISO 27001 SOC 2 and GDPR.
Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Service Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design implementation and management of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) optimizing for performance scalability security and cost efficiency.
- Manage on-premises and cloud-based backup disaster recovery (DR) and storage solutions to ensure data resilience and business continuity.
- Govern the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Exchange Online SharePoint Teams Intune Purview and related services.
- Own the ServiceNow platform strategy configuration administration and continuous enhancement for IT Service Management (ITSM) and business process automation.
- Collaborate closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to support threat monitoring incident response and vulnerability remediation.
- Partner with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to maintain network reliability performance and proactive monitoring.
- Ensure the Help Desk delivers timely and effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 support consistently meeting customer satisfaction targets.
- Oversee enterprise software deployment using tools such as Intune SCCM or JAMF across diverse device environments.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure all infrastructure systems and services comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards (ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR).
- Work with the CISO and security teams to implement and enforce security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Lead incident response efforts for critical outages or security breaches within the infrastructure domain.
Requirements
Preferred
- Relevant certifications include: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Admin AWS/Azure Solutions Architect ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) CISSP or PMP.
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation or cloud migration initiatives.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell Python or Terraform.
