What Youll Do:
Reporting to the Agile Practice Manager youll be responsible for planning coordinating and managing enterprise releases across multiple business units and technology platforms. This role ensures successful delivery of releases by aligning with organizational strategy maintaining release frameworks and managing dependencies across projects and programs. The incumbent will leverage strong project management skills (Agile and Waterfall) to oversee release cycles mitigate risks ensure compliance with IT and business processes and governance standards.
The Enterprise Release Manager builds and maintains trust with stakeholders fosters collaboration across teams and ensures that releases are delivered on time within scope and with minimal disruption to business operations. Additionally this role acts as a Corporate Project Manager managing project scope timeline budget quality resources and relationship management for assigned projects.
The core parts of your role will be to:
Release Management
- Owns the end-to-end release process including planning scheduling and coordinating releases across enterprise systems using all project management methodologies in a diverse portfolio of delivery.
- Defines and enforces release governance frameworks and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manages release calendars dependencies and resource allocation across multiple projects and environments.
- Coordinates with development QA UAT facilitator infrastructure and business teams to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Partners with architecture and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and operational stability of releases.
- Oversees risk identification and mitigation strategies for releases including rollback plans and contingency measures.
- Ensures compliance with ITIL processes change management policies and security standards during release cycles.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives for release management and delivery frameworks.
- Tracks and reports release metrics providing transparency to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitates Portfolio Release Enterprise Planning (PREP) sessions with a goal of prioritizing and bundling deliverables for maximum business impact ensuring releases are strategically aligned with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Drives value realization by coordinating enterprise-wide releases that accelerate benefits and support OTIPs hybrid Ogile (Agile Waterfall) methodology.
- Develops integrated release plans aligned with timelines across all projects in the portfolio and organizational priorities.
- Manages scope quality and communication across projects impacting releases.
- Facilitates release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

- Manages project scope quality resources and communications and identify and manage risks and issues effectively.
- Guides and coaches project teams through development and monitoring of risk approaches that appropriately weigh factors such as business strategy process effectiveness project delivery and privacy.
- Manages change and competing demands and determines impact on budget time and risk using fact-based metrics and assumptions with effective communication of changes.
- Manages project timelines to an appropriate level of detail. Appropriate may range from high-level oversight to detailed project schedules and integrated schedules across departments.
- Develops and maintains relationships and effectively communicates with project owners such as the leadership teams & key business stakeholders.
- Facilitates participates and/or leads review sessions with leaders to identify necessary support or action to ensure successful delivery of projects.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe-RTE) ITIL or equivalent certification are preferred along with a university degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in release management project management or IT delivery roles within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience managing complex release cycles across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise IT processes governance frameworks and technology implementation practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects across differing sectors within the business.
- Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work in an environment where project processes and frameworks are in early stages of maturity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage risk effectively.
