Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management or Engineering or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with mechanical electrical plumbing and practical concepts and construction in a medical setting is required. Must be able to read and understand architectural and construction plans.
- Familiarity with hospital design Joint Commission requirements and Life Safety protocols is required.
- Knowledge of local state and federal construction codes and regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD power point excel and scheduling software is preferred.
- Other office automation and business tools are preferred.
- The ability to oversee schedule coordinate and direct project activities along with weekend off-shift holiday and on-call and overtime may be required.
- American Hospital Association CHFM (Certified Health Care Facilities Manager) is a plus.
- 5 years of design engineering and project management experience preferred within healthcare or 10 years of experience managing/leading engineering teams required.
- Professional Licensure/Registration in Engineering or related field preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
