Job Summary

About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding workforce solutions programs and services to assigned clients through high-performing Program Teams and for expanding the scope and volume of the engagement as appropriate. The incumbent oversees the development of account strategies and operational plans to deliver on client priorities and nextSources budgeted revenue and profit targets. The incumbent develops and maintains brand awareness and trusted advisor status by delivering on our program promises and by sharing workforce solutions expertise and insights. With personal credibility integrity and a passion for excellence the Program Manager earns high marks from clients for the quality of the teams and services delivered.

We are seeking candidates in or near Atlanta GA. This role is hybrid and will be onsite at the client 3-4 days/week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with primary stakeholders hiring managers and program users.

Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day client interactions and escalations.

Conduct regular follow-ups to understand client needs and identify opportunities for program expansion.

Lead customer communications negotiations and overall relationship management.

2. Program Leadership & Operations

Manage all program resources and ensure team members are fully trained on the VMS and program policies.

Maintain refine and document processes in SOPs to support continuous improvement.

Ensure achievement of all service level agreements (SLAs).

Partner with internal teams to clarify roles responsibilities and expectations while delivering exceptional stakeholder support.

3. Financial Management

Oversee program budget conducting monthly reviews and quarterly financial presentations for executive leadership.

Develop strategies to remain within budget while identifying opportunities to expand program volume and spend.

Adjust team structure and operations as needed to support performance and financial goals.

4. Client Business Reviews

Work with clients to schedule regular Business Reviews.

Create deliver and present review materials including performance metrics and strategic recommendations.

5. Supplier Partnership & Optimization

Ensure the supplier base aligns with client needs and program goals.

Identify gaps in the supply base and recommend strategies for optimization.

Strengthen supplier relationships and maintain accountability through performance oversight.

Act as the first escalation point for supplier-related issues from the client or suppliers themselves.

6. Program Growth & Expansion

Conduct hiring manager re-engagement by reviewing CRM data to identify inactive managers and executing outreach campaigns.

Document reasons for disengagement and use insights to improve program adoption.

Monitor CRM/VMS for new hiring managers and ensure onboarding within two weeks.

Support implementation teams and stakeholders with expansion initiatives across new use cases departments or locations.

Document expansion opportunities in CRM including estimated headcount budget requirements and timelines.

Education & Work Experience

Bachelors degree in Business HR Psychology or related field or equivalent business experience.

710 years of workforce management solutions experience (MSP VMS labor staffing).

Minimum 3 years in a Program Specialist Program Manager or similar leadership position.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Craft Construction and/or Light Industrial Clients

Technical Requirements

Expertise in Vendor Management System (VMS) technology.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel) email and internet applications.

Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends products and workforce solutions offerings.

Travel Requirements

Travel is generally not frequent but may be required for key client meetings business reviews and essential in-person engagements.

Work Conditions & Travel

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however it may require the ability to lift files or other objects (up to fifteen pounds). Minimal travel may be required.

The salary at hire is expected to be between $80-90k per year. Performance-based variable compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
