Job Summary

Job Title: Site Manager - Integrated Supply
Location: Bowling Green KY 42101
Position Type: Direct Hire (Onsite)
Shift: 1st shift (flexibility to support other shifts as required)

Position Overview:
The Integrated Supply Site Manager is a staff leadership role embedded at the customers facility. This position is responsible for expanding program growth and overseeing daily team operations to maintain strong profitable customer relationships that support overall financial targets and business objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise onsite customer team(s) delivering Integrated Supply solutions. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring training coaching counseling and disciplining associates while ensuring adherence to company policies procedures and productivity standards.
Achieve sales and profitability targets for the local integrated supply site(s).
Ensure fulfillment of contractual commitments including cost savings initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain a strong customer service focus with urgency for both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the sites Profit & Loss (P&L) performance to meet or exceed budgeted objectives.
Ensure customer payments are received in accordance with contractual terms.
Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Key Details:

Manage a team of 7 Storeroom Attendants.
Collaborate onsite with a Buyer; must have experience in sourcing quoting and processing orders.
Daily use of Microsoft Excel and Word required.
Prior experience required; MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) materials experience is a plus.
Strong customer service skills are essential.
Leather steel-toe shoes required.
Office space onsite shared with the Buyer.
Forklift experience preferred (training provided by the client if needed).

Job Qualifications::

Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Business Supply Chain Mgt Marketing Finance etc.) and 8 years of outside or inside experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in supply chain management wholesale distribution industrial distribution manufacturing or a similarly applicable industry (indirect materials a plus).
5 years of staff management with a proven track record as a team leader demonstrating a solid understanding of people management practices.
Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications where Vallen products services and solutions can deliver cost savings to the local integrated supply customer.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial and business acumen; strong understanding of interpreting and managing by profit and loss statement expectations.
Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel Word & Power Point) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs and software applications.
