Job Summary

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Production Planner at our headquarters in Santa Maria CA (Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm). The Production Planner I coordinates production activities for the Manufacturing Department by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
Supports the Companys vision and mission statement as indicated in the employee manual and participates in the companys continuous improvement program (LEAN).
Completes batch records jobs and pick lists daily.
Receives published jobs from Advanced Planning System (APS) and uses them to create picklists print picklists and print batch records. Documents completed steps on the batch record. Detects and resolves material issues on the picklistrecognizing that inventory accuracy is foundational to success. Ensures all materials are available for successful completion of the job.
Delivers documents to job centers per the agreed-upon deadlines.
Closes jobs as products are completed throughout the day. Confirms picklist performs stage count partial- and final job close. Resolves inventory issues on the picklists as necessary.
Reports errors to the responsible authority. Discrepancies between batch records and picklists should be reported to Process Manufacturing Administrator. Batch record errors may require submission of a Product Change Request.
Maintains the stock of all production departments by making sure they have what they need when they need it keeping accurate ERP system movements of products dispersed.
Coordinates and performs weekly monthly and quarterly raw material cycle counts.
Monitors the material/supplies needed for the manufacturing. Pulls materials as needed.
Checks and updates the working stock and supply locations routinely. Reports low stock levels to the purchasing team.

Minimum requirements include high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills. College courses in biology chemistry and physics are preferred as is previous manufacturing experience in a FDA and/or ISO-regulated facility.
