As a Civil Engineer you will be part of a large established experienced national civil engineering team with a base in AECOMs multidisciplinary London - Aldgate office.  

You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development) for a range of Clients.    

Heres what youll do:

  • You will have the opportunity to progress your career through working on a diverse range of significant development infrastructure projects (across all stages of development) for a range of Clients.  
  • You will also have the opportunity to be part of a proactive learning environment within a wider national community of infrastructure engineers.  Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
  • Proposes an approach to solve new problems encountered.
  • Identify discrepancies in results.
  • Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.
  • Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
  • You will be expected to want to work towards a professional qualification with a relevant institution (IEng / CEng with the Institution of Civil Engineers for example)

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible 

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience within an engineering consultancy 
  • Experience in the design of urban roads and drainage is a requirement of this role
  • Proficiency with InfoDrainage and Civils3D software packages is a requirement of this role
  • Design of earthworks and site levels in a 3D environment is desired
  • Understanding of BIM in Civil Engineering is desired
