The New York office of Clifford Chance has an opening for an Asset Finance Associate attorney in the Firms Global Financial Markets Group. Admission to the New York bar is required. Preferred class years 2021-2017. Submissions must include a resume and law school transcript(s).
Qualifications :
Your experience
The ideal applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school or a foreign law degree with a U.S. LL.M. from an accredited law school.
- High academic achievement.
- Meaningful experience advising lenders lessors investors underwriters or sponsors on cross-border asset finance transactions.
- Substantial experience in aviation and other transportation finance including aircraft and highvalue equipment financings.
- Experience with a broad range of transaction types including operating and finance leases secured lending leveraged leasing portfolio acquisitions and dispositions restructurings and asset-backed or structured finance transactions (including EETCs).
- Familiarity with export credit agency (ECA)-supported financings ABS and other innovative or complex financing structures.
- Strong drafting negotiation and project-management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset strong client-service orientation and ability to work effectively in team-based cross-border matters.
- Admitted to (or eligible to waive into) the New York Bar.
- Prior experience at a peer Am Law or international law firm.
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. Subject to the candidates experience the salary range for this role is $365000-$435000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
