Midstream Project Scheduler Product Replacement
Location: Houston TX (Hybrid)
Position Overview
The Project Scheduler supports fast-paced product replacement and well connection initiatives coordinating schedules across a large portfolio of concurrent projects (185). This role is commercially focused and centered on accelerating execution so wells can be connected and producing as early as possible.
The environment is dynamic involving multiple stakeholders compressed timelines and frequent changes requiring strong prioritization and rapid decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and continuously update detailed project schedules for product replacement and well connection activities
- Coordinate scheduling across multiple workstreams contractors and internal stakeholders
- Manage schedules for a high volume of concurrent projects while aligning with commercial commitments and execution priorities
- Identify schedule risks conflicts and dependencies; recommend mitigation strategies to maintain target start dates
- Track progress against milestones and proactively communicate schedule impacts
- Support rapid replanning as scopes priorities or field conditions evolve
- Ensure schedules support early production targets and overall commercial objectives
- Collaborate closely with project teams to drive efficient progression from planning through startup
This contractor role operates in a high-velocity project environment where speed accuracy and adaptability are critical. Success requires strong organization the ability to manage competing priorities and comfort working with compressed timelines and evolving project needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or associate degree
- 10 years of project scheduling experience
- Experience in oil & gas energy industrial or infrastructure project environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong understanding of sequencing dependencies and critical path methodology
- High proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 and MS Project)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey schedule impacts
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced changing environments
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork capability
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree
- 15 years scheduling experience
- Experience supporting product replacement well connection or similar field-based projects
- Prior experience in commercially driven project environments
- Familiarity with upstream or midstream operations
- Experience managing large project portfolios (100 projects)
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
Additional Details
- Location: Houston TX
- Work Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week with optional remote work on Fridays
- Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST
- Start Date: February 2026 (target)
- Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension
- Travel: None anticipated
