Job Summary

Job Title: IT PROJECT MANAGER
Location: McleanVA
Duration: 12 Months
Visa: USC GC H1B and EAD
Contract Type: W2

Job Responsibilities:

This role sits within release management and follows a modern delivery framework.
The team manages 3 4 deployments per week (on average) and a total of 35 applications
They oversee releases end-to-end including:
Intake from development teams
Creating tickets in ServiceNow
Baselining & tracking in Jira
Implementation reviews
Coordinating with IT deployers on release night
Managing approvals from business stakeholders
Tracking dashboards and reporting
Own communication across teams

MUST HAVES:

3 5 years experience
Bachelors degree
Strong Jira experience
Reporting
Advanced JQL
Hands-on ServiceNow
Change/incident tracking Dashboard creation Reporting
UNIX / Linux exposure
Excellent written & verbal communication
Writing approval emails Coordinating with business Working directly with developers
Personality Fit
Self-managed and independent
Knows when to escalate issues to Amir
Comfortable owning reporting deliverables

NICE TO HAVES:

Python (for automation/reporting)
AWS familiarity (supporting releases that deploy to AWS)
Exposure to Jenkins pipelines / Artifactory (build pipelines and understand process)
Strong documentation skills
Product readiness experience
