Large Group Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Large Group Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to managing and servicing a book of business consisting of 15-20 clients primarily focusing on accounts with 100 employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in self-funding level funding and fully insured accounts as well as experience in renewal projections marketing and resolving escalated claims issues.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80000 - $125000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of business consisting of 15-20 clients.
  • Act as a project manager for client accounts ensuring seamless onboarding of new business and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Conduct renewal projections and assist with marketing efforts as needed.
  • Address and resolve escalated claims issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attend in-person client meetings as required at least quarterly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and growth goals are achieved.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Life & Health license required; additional designations are a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a broker or carrier Account Manager/Account Executive role with a focus on medical insurance (not just ancillary).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with proprietary systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a client-focused approach.
  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to client meetings within driving distance of Seattle.
