We are supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme based near Hinkley Point C delivered by one of the UKs leading energy organisations.
This opportunity is ideal for a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional with experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments supporting compliance governance and continuous improvement across complex engineering projects.
You will play a key role ensuring quality standards are maintained across project teams and suppliers supporting one of the UKs most significant infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 19443 and regulatory requirements
- Conduct and support internal and supplier audits
- Monitor quality performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Support project teams in implementing quality processes and best practice
- Interface with internal stakeholders suppliers and project teams
- Produce reports and quality documentation using Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the programme
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- 59 years experience in a Quality Engineer Quality Assurance or Compliance role
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar recognised quality standards
- Experience working in regulated or safety-critical industries (nuclear defence aerospace rail oil & gas or similar)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Experience using SharePoint and collaborative platforms
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in the nuclear sector
- Familiarity with ISO 19443
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Experience using Jira Confluence or Atlassian tools
- Experience supporting supplier quality or audit programmes
- Understanding of working in highly regulated environments
