Our client a real estate corporation is looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate Research Assistant to support ongoing property research and administrative work. This role focuses on searching real estate platforms analyzing listings based on client criteria and preparing organized property options for client review.
This is not a Realtor role and no real estate license is required. We are specifically looking for someone who enjoys in-depth online research and can spend significant time working inside real estate databases and platforms.

- Part-time or Full-time (flexible)
Compensation
- $30 $35 CAD per hour depending on experience and platform proficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Research available properties based on client-provided criteria (location price size property type zoning/use etc.).
- Conduct detailed searches using CoStar LoopNet and AUTOPROP.
- Analyze and compare listings to identify best-fit options.
- Prepare organized client-ready summaries (Excel / Google Sheets / PDFs).
- Initiate and track communication with listing contacts (emails calls follow-ups).
- Maintain accurate records of searches contacted listings responses and next steps.
- Provide general administrative support related to property research and listings.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a real estate research listings coordinator or real estate administrative support role.
- Hands-on experience using CoStar and/or LoopNet.
- Strong research analysis and organizational skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple searches at once.
- Must be located in BC or Canada and available to support Pacific Time hours when required.

- Candidates with active real estate licenses will not be considered.
- This role is focused on research analysis and administrative execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AUTOPROP or other BC-specific property data platforms.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate research.
