JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy (ISAL) is seekingaWorkforceDevelopment ProgramConsultantresponsible forassistingWorkforce Development System Liaison Project staff.Thisrole will involve a variety ofresponsibilities including:
Developingtraining for adult education program staff.
Developing resources for programs.
Contributing to the development of various written and online program deliverables.
Other similar tasksthat support Division-funded adult education programs in Pennsylvania.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Education WorkforceDevelopmentor a related discipline plusone yearof relatedexperience;or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of and experience with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act workforce development and career pathways.
Knowledge in adult education theory and practice and English as a Second Language theory and practice are strongly desired.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to creatively solve problems.
Experienceusing Microsoft Officeproducts Google Suiteand web conferencing tools.
Project Timeline & Compensation:
Duration:This is a fixed-term appointmentfor a maximum of350 hoursto be completedbyJune302026.
Compensation: $75per hour.
Work Format:This is a remote part-time position.
