The Opportunity

The Group Setup Technician is responsible for issuing new group insurance policies and processing postsale changes. This role involves entering and creating system structures received with specifications at time of sale in the administrative system preparing contracts and employee booklets enrolling new employees.

The Group Setup Agent also prepares administrative kits for clients and manages the issuing teams shared email inbox ensuring accurate and timely followups.

What youll do

Responsibilities

  • Prepare contracts and employee booklets using standardized templates for new group policies.
  • Update the administrative system (BMS) for new policies and existing groups.
  • Manage the issuing teams shared email inbox responding to inquiries and making required adjustments.
  • Validate contracts and policy modifications prepared by colleagues.
  • Prepare administrative kits for clients with newly issued policies.
  • Enroll new employees upon activation of a new group policy.

What youll need

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English written and spoken.
  • Basic knowledge of group insurance and the benefits offered.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF for document formatting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel to support team procedures.
  • Ability to draft contractual clauses and make modifications to existing templates.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify discrepancies between benefits issued in the administrative system contracts and employee booklets.
