Job Summary
Under the authority of the Electrical Supervisor the Instrumentation and Control Technician applies preventive and corrective maintenance techniques diagnoses electrical electronic and instrumentation systems installs repairs modifies calibrates adjusts and maintains various types of electronic and electrical equipment as well as mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic instrumentation equipment in the plant.
What you will be responsible for:
- Maintain assets and equipment in good condition;
- Identify study and diagnose breakdowns irregularities and equipment failures and rapidly apply corrective measures;
- Suggest ways of improving productivity and quality;
- Respect calibration methods and procedures;
- Carry out preventive maintenance safety items and work required by production for the smooth running of the operation;
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and software;
- Knowledge of variable speed drives
- Electricians license C or in the process of obtaining it
- DEC in instrumentation and control;
- 3 to 5 years experience in an industrial environment.

- Ability to manage stress and work under pressure;
- Knowledge of computer systems (essential);
- Focus on health and safety
- English (functional).
Additional Information :
- Schedule Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
- Permanent full time position
- Overtime paid at time and a half.
