Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilledFitter Welder Ito join a company specializing in the manufacturing of industrial equipment. ThisFitter Welderrole involves layout fit-up and welding of structural and pressure-related components while following engineering drawings and quality standards.

What the Fitter Welder I Will Be Doing

Clamp holdtack-weld grind and bolt componentsinto position for welding
Analyzeengineering drawings and specificationsto plan layout assembly and welding operations
Layout and fit nozzles supports and couplingsper blueprint into shells
Remove rough spots usingportable grinders hand files or scrapers
Maintain asafe work environmentand report defective tools or equipment
Follow all safety quality and production procedures

Required Qualifications for the Fitter Welder I

Ability topass a 3G MIG / Flux Core weld test
Experience fitting and welding industrial equipment components
Strongblueprint reading and layoutskills
Familiarity with grinders clamps and welding tools
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
