J2 Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction state and federal projects and facilities maintenance. Proven leader with extensive knowledge of NEC OSHA and safety standards skilled in supervising crews managing schedules and budgets and ensuring quality and compliance across all phases of construction. Effective communicator with a hands-on leadership style and a consistent record of delivering safe compliant and on-time projects.

Professional Experience
  • Supervise electrical construction activities on commercial state and federal projects
  • Lead electricians and field technicians across multiple job sites ensuring efficient use of labor and resources
  • Coordinate installation maintenance and repair of electrical distribution systems conductors controls and associated equipment
  • Serve as Site Safety Representative enforcing OSHA requirements and conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Review drawings specifications and project documentation for NEC and contract compliance
  • Support Quality Control efforts by ensuring work aligns with approved submittals and project standards
  • Maintain accurate daily reports safety logs manpower tracking and incident documentation
  • Manage schedules sequencing and manpower to meet project milestones while adapting to scope or budget changes
  • Collaborate with Project Management Quality Control prefabrication purchasing and accounting departments
  • Order materials manage inventory and oversee jobsites logistics
  • Troubleshoot electrical motor and control systems
  • Participate in hands-on field work when required to maintain progress and quality

Leadership Safety & Administration

  • Train mentor and provide direction to less experienced electricians
  • Approve timesheets attendance time-off requests and weekly field reports
  • Enforce company policies quality standards and professional jobsites conduct
  • Maintain open communication with clients inspectors and government representatives
  • Ensure proper use maintenance and inventory of tools equipment and company vehicles

Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Electrical Apprenticeship completed (8000 hours) or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Licenses

  • Electrical License (Preferred)
  • Valid Drivers License
Additional Information
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Eligible for federal background checks and secure site access
  • Willing to work 810 hour shifts MondayFriday
  • Subject to pre-employment drug screening
