The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Under the direction of a Sr. Electrical Engineer the successful candidate will perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Creating electrical plans and details with the use of Revit or AutoCAD.
- Utilize lighting software to perform lighting calculations.
- Assist with the electrical design of medium and low voltage power distribution lighting lightning protection and grounding systems.
- Work on varying project types and sizes including offices transportation spaces retail & federal facilities.
- Work under supervision of a senior level team member.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Architecture or in another related field and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelors degree and plan to continue with the Masters degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelors degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of Ohms Law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to learn Revit.
