We are looking for an IT Technician to support technical operations at our Hammond location.
This role blends warehouse responsibilities with Level 1 help desk support onsite technical
Handle shipping/receiving and assist with inventory management
Provide Level 1 help desk support including basic troubleshooting of hardware
software and network issues
Perform onsite installs troubleshooting and general technical support
Run and terminate network cabling (e.g. CAT6)
Assist with various operational and technical tasks as assigned
Travel occasionally for onsite work at other locations

Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with Level 1 help desk support
Basic understanding of IT systems hardware and troubleshooting
Experience with cabling or willingness to learn
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Valid drivers license and ability to travel when required

Proven experience as a Level 2 Technician in an MSP environment. Strong knowledge of networking servers data centers enterprise environments and VOIP systems. Experience with scripting for RMM automation. Proficiency in ConnectWise PSA and ConnectWise Automate/Labtech. Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written. Demonstrated experience in dealing directly with end-users. Capable of creating and implementing effective SOPs and managing comprehensive documentation. Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CCNA MCSE VCP). Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience.
