JOB TITLE: | Direct Sales Agent |
DEPARTMENT: | Consumer |
REPORTS TO: | Sales and Retail Lead/ D Sales & Operations Lead |
Primary objective of the job: This role must identify and pursue sales opportunities for the Digicel Prepaid & Postpaid Product Portfolio to new customers to enhance customers experience through up-selling and cross-selling to our existing customer base. Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales service to all clients by resolving customer complaints queries and concerns. Liaise with other departments to ensure the fulfillment of end-to-end transactions. |
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve at minimum 70% of Sales Targets (Subject to change)
- Full compliance with the use of prescribed CRM tools for optimal business intelligence
- Achieve the required number of customer contacts on a daily weekly and monthly basis to ensure that you can achieve your targets through your individual conversion rates
- Sell the required mixture of Digicels products and services in line with the required targets
- Accurately record all prospective information sales appointments and conversations with customers and associated outcomes (failures and successes) in line with current reporting documents to sales management on a daily weekly and monthly basis
- Accurately record customers orders and applications for products and services
- Provide relevant information and responses to customers concerns and questions in an honest and business-like manner
- Be an external ambassador of Digicel and maintain a strict level of professionalism
- Maintain and account for stock of devices
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings
- Canvass assigned territories to promote and sell products/services
- Deliver sales presentations to prospective customers
- Arrange and manage any repair service required tracking and resolving any issues arising and ensuring all stock returned for repair is looked after and protected from further damage whilst on duty.
- Perform any other reasonably assigned duties that may be required

Academic qualifications and experience required for job (Minimum) - 5 CXCs passes inclusive of Mathematics and English or equivalent
- Previous Sales experience or relevant experience in similar role
- Must possess good computer skills and knowledge of the internet and applications (Microsoft Office)
- A minimum of two (2) years sales experience with proven success
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Flexible and quick-thinking
- Must be customer oriented
- Must be trainable
- Ability to rapidly learn new tools and understand customers environments
