Position Overview

We are seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for the repair upkeep and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including CNC machines autoclaves layup tables and other production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues (basic wiring sensors control panels).

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed using maintenance logs and work orders.

  • Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency.

  • Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

  • Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Support facility maintenance tasks as needed (e.g. lighting plumbing HVAC support).

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 13 years of machine or equipment maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred).

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems hand tools and basic electrical troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.

  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime when needed.

Preferred:

  • Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field.

  • Experience with CNC machinery hydraulic systems or autoclaves.

  • Forklift certification.
