Role: Transport Planner
Location: Naas
Hours: Monday - Friday

We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our Road Freight this role you will be responsible for planning monitoring and coordinating transport activities to ensure firstclass customer service and compliance with operational administrative and legal requirements. If you thrive in a fastpaced logistics environment and enjoy problemsolving communication and operational control this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

What will you be doing

Understand customer requirements to ensure delivery of firstclass customer service.
Plan arrange monitor and control all elements of Direct Land Transport (LTL & FTL) ensuring all associated operational administrative and legal documentation is completed.
Use DSV IT systems Microsoft Office and related tools to manage daily tasks and processes.
Adhere to company Quality Policy and Objectives ensuring KPIs are maintained.
Generate timely and accurate client sales invoicing and process additional costs and sales outside of agreements.
Respond to general inquiries promptly and escalate issues where needed.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Take reasonable care of your own and others Health & Safety in the workplace.
Report hazards that may pose risk to yourself or others.
Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by a manager.

About You

Previous experience in a similar transport planning role.
Strong knowledge of the logistics/transport sector.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Sound judgement determination and the ability to work with urgency.
Strong relationshipbuilding and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills.
