As the Director of Learning & Development you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of training at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Youll work collaboratively with People & Culture and Department Heads to assess develop and facilitate all training and ensure engagement from colleagues and leaders. While youll need basic computer expertise communication motivation and presentation skills will be imperative for this position.
What you will be doing:
The Director of Learning & Development will be responsible for all Hotel and Corporate training programs through collaboration effective communication and positive working relationships with all colleagues. This will include:
- Implementing and evaluating new training initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and ultimately guest satisfaction
- Planning coordinating and presenting corporate training programs in accordance with Accor requirements including harassment-free workplace diversity communication leadership and related training to meet specific departmental needs.
- Conducting meetings with Department Heads trainers and employees to review performance trends develop action plans and give recognition.
- Facilitating and supporting Fairmont Learning Programs with a focus on New Hire Orientation Heartist Journey Service Culture and Luxury Service Standards
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous proven experience developing and facilitating management and leadership development training programs
- Training experience in a similar function in a luxury hotel is an asset
- Ability to prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment and work effectively and efficiently to support and maintain good relationships with internal departments colleagues corporate teams and vendors.
