Senior Business Analyst (Data Domain)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit analyze and refine complex business and data requirements
• Translate requirements into clear documentation including functional specifications user stories and process/data flows
• Support validation activities and ensure requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle
• Facilitate workshops requirements sessions and walkthrough meetings with cross-functional teams
• Identify dependencies impacts and gaps across processes systems and data flows
• Create and maintain data dictionaries mappings and structured documentation for the Data Team
• Contribute to documentation standards and requirements management best practices
• Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst including at least 2 years in data-focused or analytics environments
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation analysis and documentation
• Experience with business process and data modeling (BPMN UML or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Data Engineers Analysts PMs and Product Owners
• Familiarity with Jira Confluence and BA/process modeling tools
• Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and a data-driven mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing SQL queries for data validation or analysis
• Practical experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI Tableau etc.)
• Experience working with cloud data environments (AWS GCP Azure)
• Background in consulting finance insurance or related industries
• Relevant certifications (CBAP PMI-PBA etc.)
• Experience supporting data governance or master data initiatives
