The Role

Capco is growing our Engineering team and were looking for experienced SDETs with a passion for delivering innovative solutions in financial services. If you enjoy solving complex problems working with cloud-native technologies and collaborating in agile teams wed love to hear from you.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Capco youll contribute to high-impact client-facing projects that shape the future of financial services. Youll work alongside talented engineers have access to industry-leading training and get the opportunity to grow your skills across multiple platforms. You will also get the chance to work across different domains within FS & Energy.

What Youll Do

Create drive and build test strategies that are robust reusable and scalable
Develop and manage test artefacts - plans specifications scripts and reports
Manage test environments and generate consistent test data
Execute UI and API tests using modern automation tools and practices
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality-first delivery

What Were Looking For

Strong knowledge of at least one OOP language (Java Scala or JavaScript preferred)
Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright)
Exposure to UI and API automation layers
Familiarity with Jira TestRail Jenkins GitHub and SonarQube
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure

Bonus Points For

Background as a developer
Performance testing with JMeter LoadRunner or equivalent tools
DevOps knowledge and public cloud experience (AWS Azure or GCP)
Experience migrating applications to cloud environments
Agile practices such as Scrum Kanban or Lean UX
