| Join BMWTechWorks India within the Cluster Digital Product Engineering and become an integral part of the Axle Development team which plays a crucial role in BMWs vehicle development process. As a CAE/FEM Simulation Engineer focused on axle components you will be responsible for the meshing modeling simulation and interpretation of results for axle components. Your work will directly impact the optimization of components in terms of static and dynamic stiffness NVH and durabilityensuring the highest standards of BMWs product quality and performance. You will also prepare detailed technical reports to support your findings and recommendations. What should you bring along
| - Strong knowledge and experience in CAE methods applied to vehicle axle components
- Ability to perform finite element (FE) simulations focusing on static structural stiffness NVH (dynamic local stiffness) and strength requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) to work effectively in an international team
- Motivation to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a passion for engineering excellence

Must have technical skill | - Expert knowledge of solvers NASTRAN and ABAQUS
- Proficiency in pre-processing tool ANSA
- Experience with post-processing tools such as MetaPost and Animator
- Ability to conduct FE simulations and interpret results accurately
- Strong reporting skills to document simulation outcomes
|
Good to have Technical skills | - Programming skills preferably in Python to automate tasks and enhance simulation workflows
- Basic knowledge of the German language is considered an advantage
