Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients in the emergency department
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
Requirements
- Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas
- Associate degree in nursing or relevant field
- Experience in Emergency Medicine or acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Schedule: 10a-10p
10k annual volume
No ICU
Standard ER Procedures Required: Central lines chest tubes vents etc.
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
ATLS ACLS and PALS required
Paid travel & lodging
