International Cyber & Tech Product Development Manager

This role would ideally suit a candidate from an underwriting legal or claims background with a strong technical skillset and prior experience in managing and drafting policy language.

This is a unique position held withinthe Cyber division ofChubb Overseas General to lead willbe responsible forcontinuously developing andreviewingthesuiteofcoretemplate cyberand technologypolicy wordingsin order tomaintaintheir competitive will alsobe responsible forassistingthe COG regions in localising and implementing these wordings as well as reviewing and signing offkey changes to wordings and endorsementstoidentifydeviations against our Chubb preferred coverage and language.

We are open to discuss flexible working successful candidate will be based in the London office but there will be flexibility to work from other COG offices globally on occasion with management consent. There is also the possibility of travel to other COG regions whererequired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of standardChubb templatewordingsand endorsements including scheme and bespoke wordings clause banks policyformatand presentation layout.
• To review negotiate and achieve agreement to insurance documentation.
• Review all scheme and broker initiative policy formsin conjunction with the COG regions.
• Keep abreast of market wording developments.
• Working withCOG regionsto localise wordings and endorsements.
• Taking referrals from COG regions to sign off deviations to Chubb standard wordings andendorsements.
• Dealing with ad-hoc requests from COG regions in relation to wording and coverage issues
• Tomaintainrecords and reports relating to wording matters including diary of outstanding issues.
• Tonegotiateand liaise with brokers other underwritingstaffand Chubb employees whererequired.
• To provide training to underwriters on wording related issues whererequired.
• Toassistin the maintenance of the centralwordingsrepository.
• Involvement in ad hoc information requests / projects related to the relevant bank of wordings.
• To work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards.
• TorepresentChubb at Industry Associations including as the IUA / LUG.

What skills & experience arerequired

• Significant experienceof a technical nature isrequiredwith product line bias.
• Experience of coaching others.
• ACII or progression towards ACII is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge ofcyberwordingsand clear grasp of the challenges posed by cyber risks including volatility in coverage systemic event coverage marketuncertaintyandpossible litigationfrom unclear language drafting.
• Knowledge of insurance businessmarketsand general insurance related terminology
• Knowledge of law and ability to check sound legally approved policy forms and communicate them tounderwriters.
• Strongcommunicationskills andhigh attention to detailas the wording specialist individual willbe responsible forarticulating coveragesclausesand policy intent to brokers and underwriters.
• Understanding of clauses and terminology
• Usesclear language is briefpreciseandstraightforward.
• Ability to explain complex topicsconcisely.
• Ability to draft reports and plans for internal and external audiences.
