ChristianaCare is hiring a full time Genetic Counselor to join their team.

Our Center for Medical Genomics currently has 12 genetic counselors that provide genetic counseling across multiple service lines including oncology prenatal NICU cardiovascular neurology and adult services. The Center for Medical Genomics is currently recruiting for 2 Full-time Genetic Counselor to join our team.

Our genetic counselors are responsible for conducting intake screening and risk assessment explaining the nature and scope of testing procedures and following up with results. We also provide opportunities to teach and supervise residents fellows undergraduate students and graduate genetic counseling students.

The genetic counselors also have opportunities to provide educational lectures to professionals as well as participate in community outreach. Educational enrichment is integral to the position with participation in journal clubs and case conferences.

This is a split position between prenatal and addition we have another opportunity that is also fulltime prenatal.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8a - 4:30p

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Genetic Counseling
Certified Genetic Counselor or Board eligible
At least 2 years of experience as a certified licensed genetic counselor maintaining a full case load and working independently with the majority of letters (95%) not needing to be reviewed.

Annual Compensation Range $73611.20 - $117790.40

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
