Job Description:
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strong Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide 1:1 support for a male high school student exhibiting significant behaviors and aggression. The ideal candidate must be confident consistent and skilled in behavior intervention strategies within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support in a high school environment
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity
- Collect and document behavioral data
- Collaborate with teachers special education staff and support teams
- Maintain a safe and structured environment for the student
Requirements
- Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) Certification
- Previous experience supporting students with severe behaviors and aggression required
- Strong behavior management and de-escalation skills
- Reliable punctual and professional
- School-based experience preferred
