Job Description

As a Data Scientist within Jellyfishs Cloud and Martech practice you will contribute to the delivery of advanced measurement modelling and predictive analytics solutions. Your goal is to help transform complex marketing data into actionable insights that drive media efficiency. This role is perfect for a data professional who has mastered the technical basics and is looking to apply statistical rigor to real-world marketing challenges within a collaborative fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Process and analyze large datasets to identify trends performance patterns and opportunities for optimization.
Model Implementation: Support the development of statistical models including Geo-based experiments Media Mix Models (MMM) and Incrementality testing ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Predictive Analytics: Build and maintain predictive models that enhance customer experience and improve revenue outcomes for our clients.
Workflow Automation: Create reproducible and documented analytical workflows using Python and SQL to ensure projects are scalable and efficient.
Data Storytelling: Translate technical findings into clear visualizations and dashboards (Looker Tableau) that help non-technical stakeholders understand performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside Senior Data Scientists and Cloud Engineers to integrate analytical solutions into broader client ecosystems.

Qualifications

Experience: 24 years of experience in data science marketing analytics or a quantitative field.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python (Pandas Scikit-learn) and SQL is essential.
Martech Knowledge: Familiarity with the digital marketing ecosystem (Google Analytics Meta Amazon Marketing Cloud etc.).
Statistical Foundation: Good understanding of causal inference attribution models and hypothesis testing.
Communication: Ability to explain the why behind the data to internal teams and clients.
Education: Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
Proactivity: A self-starter mindset with a desire to learn new libraries automate repetitive tasks and stay updated on privacy-safe measurement.
