Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Civil Engineering CAD Technicianto join our dynamic Site Civil Team.This position will report to the Engineering Team Leader and will support hybrid or in office in our St. Louis MO office.

What You Will Do as a Civil Engineering CAD Technician at Woolpert:

Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans grading plans and site designs.
Work with project management teams toidentifyimpediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
Performsite due diligenceassessments and compile data and reports.
Performroadway pavement evaluationsand compile reports.
Perform occasional field work frequent local travel and overnight travel as needed.

What You Will Bring:

Must have anAssociates degreeor technical certification from a technical schoolor four (4)yearsrelated experience.
Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Valid Drivers License Clean driving record.
Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
Proven ability to multi-task appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks.
Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
Must be able to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Mustbe able to readwriteand interpret reports businesscorrespondenceand procedural documentation.
Must be able to apply mathematical concepts of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (fractions percentagesratiosand proportions) andapplyto practical situations.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Pay Range

$51100 - $63900 USD
