The Opportunity

Are you a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of complex technology and human-centric business transformation As a Senior Engagement Manager you wont just be managing projectsyou will be the chief architect of our clients success.

You will lead high-impact Workday implementations serving as the bridge between sales delivery and the C-suite. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on being a methodology expert and a trusted advisor ensuring that every deployment is delivered with precision on budget and ready to serve as a world-class reference.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive the Gold Standard: Become a certified expert in Workdays Implementation Methodology leveraging it to lead 1 to 2 large-sized projects simultaneously to successful Go-Live.
• Influence the Deal: Partner with the Sales team to shape the future of our engagements. Youll help gather requirements formulate delivery approaches and craft SOWs that set our teams up for success.
• Consultative Leadership: Act as a mentor to Professional Services resources guiding them through technical hurdles and professional growth.
• Navigate the C-Suite: Lead Executive Steering Committee meetings translating project milestones into business value for client stakeholders.
• Manage the Scope: Manage project scope and budgets with a firm but fair hand. Youll identify risks early resolve conflicts with client PMs and execute change orders when the scope evolves.
• Ensure Long-term Success: Guide clients from the intensity of implementation into the stability of Product Support/Customer Success ensuring they are empowered to maximize their Workday investment.

You will need to become :

• The Workday Expert: You have a deep understanding of Workday products and a passion for staying ahead of the platforms latest features.
• The Diplomat: You can balance the firm requirements of a Statement of Work (SOW) with the delicate nature of client relationships.
• The Finisher: You have a track record of bringing projects in on time and under budget without sacrificing quality.
• The Strategic Mentor: You dont just delegate; you coach. You enjoy elevating the consultants around you.

• 案件形成への影響力 営業チームと連携し今後の案件の方向性を形作る要件収集デリバリー手法の策定チームを成功に導くためのSOW作業範囲記述書の作成を支援する
• コンサルティングリーダーシップ プロフェッショナルサービス部門のリソースコンサルタント等のメンターとなり技術的な障壁の克服やプロフェッショナルとしての成長をガイドする
• 経営層C-Suiteへの対応 エグゼクティブ運営委員会Steering Committeeを主導しプロジェクトのマイルストーンをビジネス価値へと翻訳してクライアントのステークホルダーに伝える
• スコープ管理 プロジェクトの範囲スコープと予算を毅然としつつも公平な態度で管理するリスクを早期に特定しクライアント側のPMと対立を解消し必要に応じてチェンジオーダー契約変更を実行する
• 長期的な成功の確保 導入フェーズの緊張感から運用サポートカスタマーサクセスによる安定稼働へとクライアントを導きWorkdayへの投資価値を最大化できるよう支援する

About You

Requirements

• 5 years experience project managing ERP or business application system within a large Enterprise client
• Consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company

Other Qualifications

• Experience implementing Workday Oracle SAP PeopleSoft or similar applications preferred
• Passion and drive for customer success
• Adept at conflict management; skilled in de-escalating project tensions and mediating between stakeholders to reach consensus
• Leadership abilities to empower and focus the project team on deployment objectives
• Strong at building relationships working cross-functionally and can influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities at the same time
• Manage 3rd parties on project teams
• Present at Customer Executive Steering Committee meetings
• Solid track record in Project Management delivery within a Professional Services environment
• Deliver projects within the budget outlined in the Statement Of Work
• Promote a positive and inclusive working environment
• Business-level Japanese and English language skills (oral and written)
