Role Overview
Wild Tech is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant with strong Supply Chain expertise for a contract opportunity in Sydney.
You will act as a key functional subject matter expert working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality D365 F&O solutions. The role involves functional design configuration workshops testing and post-sale client engagement with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management (Advanced Warehousing experience is an advantage).
This is a part-time contract role (3 days per week) ideally suited to a consultant based in Sydney or willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
Work with client stakeholders and engagement teams to gather requirements and define deliverables
Lead and support functional design configuration and solution delivery within D365 F&O
Conduct business process analysis gap/fit analysis and functional design documentation
Ensure quality delivery through system testing functional testing and user acceptance testing
Create and execute test cases to validate end-to-end business processes
Deliver end-user training and support clients through go-live and post-implementation phases
Provide onsite or remote support during project delivery as required
Contribute to solution documentation and best practices
Support pre-sales activities including demos proofs of concept RFPs and RFQs where required
Maintain awareness of the D365 F&O product roadmap and upcoming releases
Ensure compliance with security policies and internal processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in IT Business Supply Chain or a related discipline (preferred)
Strong experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant
Proven expertise in Supply Chain Management modules
Advanced Warehouse Management experience (highly regarded)
Minimum 34 years experience in ERP consulting or end-to-end implementations
Proven delivery of at least 3 full-cycle ERP implementations
Solid understanding of ERP implementation methodologies
Good knowledge of Finance Sales Procurement Inventory and Production processes
Experience with LCS and Azure DevOps (working knowledge)
Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised self-motivated and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
