We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Sidcup starting ASAP. The school has a strong Early Years Foundation Stage provision providing a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to explore play and develop essential early learning skills. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of high-quality play-based learning activities. You will provide support to individual children and small groups helping them develop communication social emotional and early academic skills. You will also support daily routines and ensure children feel safe confident and valued throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
Support the EYFS teacher in delivering daily learning activities
Provide 1:1 or small-group support to children as required
Assist with planning and preparing engaging play-based learning activities
Observe and record childrens progress to support assessment and planning
Encourage positive behaviour independence and confidence
Support children with personal care routines where necessary
Promote communication language development and social interaction
Help maintain a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with EYFS staff and wider school team
Follow safeguarding health and safety and school policies at all times

Have experience working with young children ideally in EYFS or nursery settings
