Within Enterprise Technology our Product Engineering team designs builds and maintains the software products that power Cox Automotives UK and European Wholesale division.

From internal tools to customerfacing platforms our products touch thousands of users across the automotive ecosystem. One of our flagship platforms is the Manheim Auctions Platform which supports hundreds of vehicle transactions every day across auction centres throughout the UK.

Were now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our talented team.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer youll play a key role in the development and enhancement of our wholesale products. Working closely with Product Engineering and wider crossfunctional teams youll deliver secure scalable and performant solutions that make life easier for our users.

Quality matters here. Youll take pride not just in your code but in the full engineering lifecyclefrom design and documentation to testing deployment and ongoing improvement.

What Youll Do

Build and deliver highquality technical solutions using a modern toolset.
Write clean maintainable efficient codeand help raise engineering standards across the team.
Challenge the status quo and help evolve our technologies and ways of working.
Perform system and integration testing across your codebase.
Troubleshoot issues around scalability performance and security.
Produce technical documentation for the modules you deliver.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate thirdparty solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to wider engineering strategies.
Review and approve code and technical designs.
Mentor and support colleagues within the team.
Share knowledge across the wider Cox Automotive engineering community.
