POSITION FUNCTION:
TheManager Employment Program supervises program workers and works collaboratively with other MOSAIC programs and staff co-location agencies community organizations and stakeholders to develop implement and evaluate their assigned program(s).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall coordination and planning of deliverables (outputs and outcomes)
- Ensure delivery of assigned Program(s) is/are consistent and professional
- Provide direct information and support to clients as needed
- Supervise the promotion and marketing of all program related activities
- Assist Senior Manager and Director to identify emerging client needs and potential funding opportunities
- Provide support for proposals and budgets for new and existing programs
- Work with the senior manager and the Finance Department to ensure financial integrity and accountability for the Program
- Monitor contract budgets cash flows variances financial statements reports and expense records
- Act as a resource for community organizations stakeholders and partners (including employers and business/industry organizations) to collaborate with MOSAIC to build capacity for immigrant and refugee communities
- Promote MOSAIC as a cross-region stakeholder and service provider for immigrants and refugees through participation in community and industry committees task forces and governmental and inter-agency networks
- Compile reports and service statistics for the senior manager on emerging issues and community trends developments employment and career development services and funder-related feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
Employment and career development services staff supervision volunteer management community development practices and programming (with an emphasis on capacity building and coordination) financial management human resource management; standard office equipment
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in program field other areas in the humanities or education or high school completion and a diploma in an area such as Management Volunteer Development Community Development or Community Social Services
- Career Development Practitioner (CDP) certificate or equivalent an asset
Skills:
- Able to dialogue individual client and community issues to funders employers and community partners
- Communication skills
- Community Development skills
- Financial management Initiative
- MS Office suite publishing software database software
- Organized and able to set priorities and meet deadlines

COMPENSATION: $69360.20 - $78599.30 annual salary
HOURS: full-time position (35 hours per week)
The successful candidate may be permitted to work a hybrid work model (a combination of in-office and remote work). The successful candidate must be able to commute to the MOSAIC Highgate office and Surrey Newton office.
BENEFITS:
A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
