The Opportunity

Black Cat Civil is offering an exciting part time opportunity for an Undergraduate Civil Engineer to join one of the largest operational division within our business.

Working within our Pre Contracts Team at the Nambour office you will gain exposure to civil infrastructure and maintenance in both mining and construction environments while also developing valuable operational and project management experience.

We offer flexibility to support your studies with 23 days per week available during term and the opportunity for onsite project exposure during university breaks including hands on experience in QA and construction support.

Key Responsibilities

As an entry level role you will support the management team across a wide range of operational and project activities including:

Procuring construction materials and consumables

Assisting with construction administration (e.g. timesheets job setup and close out)

Providing general support to the management team

Assisting with quoting for new works

Gaining exposure to construction methodologies and industry best practice

Previous undergraduate experience (highly regarded but not essential)
