Job Summary

Operating within a highly collaborative global research network for Alzheimers disease at Boston University School of Medicine the successful applicant will:

Maintain and update web-based database systems for Alzheimers disease.
Develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) pipeline and software tools for patient subtyping target prioritization and drug repositioning projects for Alzheimers disease.
Conduct high-level AI-enabled analyses across diverse data modalities including genomics and multi-omics data alongside imaging fluid biomarker digital health and drug data.
Manage code repositories standardization of software tools and comprehensive technical documentation for reproducible research.
Prepare reports and manuscripts.
Provide technical support and train to a multidisciplinary team of faculty and trainees.

Required Skills

This position requires a Bachelors degree with 2 years of work experience or a Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Successful candidates demonstrate significant experience in AWS/Linux cloud environments and GitHub/GitLab repository and advanced proficiency in AI programing and tools such as Python R Shiny and frameworks for Large Language Models (LLMs) or Graph Neural Networks (GNNs).
