Operating within a highly collaborative global research network for Alzheimers disease at Boston University School of Medicine the successful applicant will:
- Maintain and update web-based database systems for Alzheimers disease.
- Develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) pipeline and software tools for patient subtyping target prioritization and drug repositioning projects for Alzheimers disease.
- Conduct high-level AI-enabled analyses across diverse data modalities including genomics and multi-omics data alongside imaging fluid biomarker digital health and drug data.
- Manage code repositories standardization of software tools and comprehensive technical documentation for reproducible research.
- Prepare reports and manuscripts.
- Provide technical support and train to a multidisciplinary team of faculty and trainees.
Required Skills
This position requires a Bachelors degree with 2 years of work experience or a Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Successful candidates demonstrate significant experience in AWS/Linux cloud environments and GitHub/GitLab repository and advanced proficiency in AI programing and tools such as Python R Shiny and frameworks for Large Language Models (LLMs) or Graph Neural Networks (GNNs).
