We are hiring a Senior Cancer Services Pharmacist for a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Full-time Permanent
Permanent contract options available: 35 hours over 5 days or 32 hours over 4 days per week.
Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with active registration and no restrictions on practice.
MSc or Diploma in Clinical/Hospital Pharmacy (or equivalent postgraduate qualification).
Minimum of three years satisfactory post-registration experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Significant experience in Oncology and/or Haematology pharmacy practice.
Experience working within an aseptic compounding unit including chemotherapy preparation and cytotoxic handling.
Demonstrated knowledge of cancer treatment protocols systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and supportive care medicines.
Strong understanding of medication safety governance and quality assurance standards in oncology services.
Ability to provide clinical pharmacy input to multidisciplinary teams and participate in ward rounds.
Excellent communication leadership and organisational skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement initiatives
Requirements
