We are hiring a Senior Cancer Services Pharmacist for a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Full-time Permanent
Permanent contract options available: 35 hours over 5 days or 32 hours over 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with active registration and no restrictions on practice.

  • MSc or Diploma in Clinical/Hospital Pharmacy (or equivalent postgraduate qualification).

  • Minimum of three years satisfactory post-registration experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

  • Significant experience in Oncology and/or Haematology pharmacy practice.

  • Experience working within an aseptic compounding unit including chemotherapy preparation and cytotoxic handling.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cancer treatment protocols systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and supportive care medicines.

  • Strong understanding of medication safety governance and quality assurance standards in oncology services.

  • Ability to provide clinical pharmacy input to multidisciplinary teams and participate in ward rounds.

  • Excellent communication leadership and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement initiatives
