Job Description

Provides endtoend support for merchant disputes retrieval requests and chargebacks in line with Visa and Mastercard rules. Ensures accurate case handling clear merchant communication and timely escalation of issues to support compliance and merchant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review investigate and decision merchant chargebacks and retrieval requests in accordance with card scheme regulations
  • Prepare and process merchant and issuer correspondence related to disputes
  • Review merchant sales drafts and supporting documentation for compliance
  • Use available systems and resources to research cases and make accurate decisions
  • Identify recurring issues process gaps or system problems and escalate to the Chargeback Management Team as appropriate

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 12 years of experience in bankcard processing merchant disputes chargebacks or a customer service/call center environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in multiple Chargebacks functions (e.g. Decisioning PreArbitration Phone Team Quality Control)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and resolve exceptions
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and sound decisionmaking skills

Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
