Job Summary

Overview: Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical sourcing and fulfilment organisation serving an international partner customer base. As part of their continued expansion they are seeking to add an experienced professional to their Barbados-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the international business sector and will be responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations financial reporting tax management and broader statutory compliance requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable (AP) accounts receivable (AR) and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements accompanied by meaningful financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Support clients with international and crossborder transactions ensuring adherence to applicable accounting and tax standards.
  • Design enhance and implement tools and processes to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to ensure accuracy consistency and completeness.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in international or crossborder accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting and ERP software systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problemsolving abilities.
