Job Summary
Role: Finance & Operations Assistant
Priority Location: South Africa
Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri)
Salary Range: $1300 - $1800 USD per month (The final offer is at the clients discretion and depends on the candidates interview result skills and experience.)

Key Responsibilities:
Finance (Core Focus)
- Perform Xero reconciliations (bank payments accounts)
- Manage invoicing and accounts receivable follow-ups
- Support accounts payable and bill payments
- Categorize and review transactions for accuracy
- Assist the Head of Finance with reporting prep and ad hoc analysis
- Support financial processes across both businesses
Operations & Customer Support
- Liaising with the 3PL fulfillment center and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of inventory
- Ensuring all operational processes are being followed accurately
- Managing invoices to customers to make sure they are sent out correctly
- Work within customer service platforms (e.g. OnePilot) to resolve queries if overflow occurs - email templates available
- Assist with general operational admin tasks
- Act as a reliable cross-functional support partner to internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
- 27 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Xero (required)
- Comfortable handling AR collections and reconciliations
- Excellent written and verbal English
- High agency and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable operating in a blended evolving role
- Experience supporting eCommerce or multi-entity businesses is a plus
- Adaptable and able to roll with the punches
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Prior experience working with UK-based companies is advantageous
