Are you a seasoned clinician passionate about providing highquality behavioral healthcare to adolescents in highacuity settings Ready to help launch and shape a brandnew program from day one Embark Behavioral Health is opening a new state-of-the-art Adolescent Residential Treatment Center in Harrison MI and we are seeking a visionary compassionate and mission-driven Clinical Director to lead all clinical operations.
This campus serves adolescents of all genders navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges including anxiety depression school avoidance substance use trauma and suicidal ideation. Our model emphasizes family-style living relational connection and integrated therapeutic support to help youth and families achieve lasting transformation.
The Clinical Director is central to our success providing leadership for clinical programming ensuring high-quality care and fostering strong collaboration between clinical and residential teams. This position is highly visible deeply interactive and ideal for a skilled leader who thrives in highacuity environments.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Program Development: Provide strategic leadership for all clinical programming ensuring evidencebased treatment exceptional care standards and alignment with Embarks mission. Lead development of short and longterm clinical plans systems policies and annual goals.
- Operational Excellence & Compliance: Oversee clinical operations including admissions discharges documentation and workflow integration. Ensure full compliance with all regulatory bodies licensing agencies legal guidelines and Joint Commission standards.
- Supervision Training & Team Development: Supervise Clinical and Nursing Department staff; provide clinical supervision; coach mentor and build highperforming interdisciplinary teams. Lead and deliver clinical and residential training to support professional growth.
- Financial & Resource Management: Manage the Clinical Department budget review financial performance allocate resources effectively and ensure fiscally responsible decision-making aligned with program needs.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Lead risk management protocols including screenings investigations root cause analysis and pattern identification. Ensure clinical quality across individual family and group therapy while upholding traumainformed and ethical standards.
- Family Referent & Community Relationships: Serve as a trusted representative of the program. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/guardians referents treatment partners and community stakeholders. Promote a culture of transparency compassion and collaboration.
- Crisis Response & OnCall Leadership: Participate in clinical and administrative oncall rotation providing leadership in highacuity or emergent situations. Ensure consistent clinical presence on campus and support rapid decisionmaking for complex cases.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination & Integrated Care: Partner closely with the Nursing Department and Residential Teams to ensure that clinical medical and behavioral needs are addressed holistically and incorporated into individualized master treatment plans.
