Salary: $27.00 $37.00/hr (Up to $45.00/hr for CV Certified candidates based on experience)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Senior Level Surgical Technologist (OR Tech III) to join our surgical this role you will serve as a go-to expert and mentor supporting complex and high-risk cases. You will provide first scrub support by managing instruments and anticipating surgeon needs and second scrub support including suctioning suture assistance and endoscopic camera operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Scrub Support: Manage instruments supplies and equipment during complex surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.

• Surgical Assistance: Perform second scrub tasks including sponging suctioning cutting sutures and holding retractors.

• Lead Competency: Act as a lead resource in specialized areas such as Robotics Total Joints Neuro/Spine Burn and Vascular Surgery.

• Vascular Expertise: Utilize advanced wire techniques and endovascular skills within a vascular hybrid room.

• Clinical Vigilance: Anticipate surgeon needs and monitor patient care to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience.

  • Endovascular experience in a vascular hybrid room required.

  • Two years prior experience in a similar facility preferred.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) program.

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) required.

  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

• On-Call Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility.

Compensation & Benefits

• Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights and Weekends.

• On-Call Pay: $3.00/hr.
