Job Summary
The Village of Carol Stream seeks a motivated individual to perform property maintenance inspections 20 hours per week between the months of May and September. Responsibilities include identifying property maintenance issues; preparing and issuing courtesy notices and working directly with property owners and tenants to obtain compliance. The individual in this position must have a strong customer service focus and work directly with residents to explain code requirements and answer code-related questions.
Qualified individuals must possess the following:
- High school degree or equivalent;
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with customers in an enforcement context; and
- A valid Illinois Vehicle Operators License.
