About This Role
In the dynamic role of Sr. Materials Handler II you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team responsible for the efficient handling of raw materials processing manufacturing orders and overseeing weighing and dispensing activities. This position focuses on receiving and shipping final drug substances ensuring a seamless flow of materials that directly supports our production objectives. Your efforts will maintain a safe efficient and productive environment at every stage contributing significant value to our operational success. Youll manage the receipt of GMP items verify inventory against specifications and ensure the timely movement of materials using our electronic inventory system. As a trusted member of our team you will play a crucial role in liaising with various departments ensuring accuracy and consistency in our supply chain processes.

What Youll Do

  • Receive all GMP items verifying count vendor item number and expiration date against specifications.

  • Process manufacturing and laboratory move orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Perform quality control sample shipments according to applicable procedures.

  • Safely operate powered industrial trucks.

  • Conduct weigh and dispense activities using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) according to procedures.

  • Execute cycle counts as per applicable procedures.

  • Complete all departmental and required GXP trainings to 100% compliance.

  • Pull pack and ship finished products samples and other materials according to SOPs.

  • Receive and process drug substances from manufacturing per procedures.

  • Stay current on DOT and Hazmat regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderly storage conditions in warehouse and dispensary areas.

  • Undertake additional job duties as assigned.

Physical Mobility Demands

  • The incumbent could stand for four (4) hours walk for three (3) hours sit for three (3) hours kneel or bend for one (1) hour is required to perform upper body twisting motions for one half (½) hour and climb steps for one half (½) hour during the normal course of performing the essential duties of the position.

  • The incumbent will also be required to lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance for up to 100 feet occasionally push/pull more than 100 pounds

  • The incumbent is required to have sufficient physical dexterity to operate a telephone computer/electronic equipment hand tools forklifts order selectors. The incumbent manipulates small objects and performs activities or operates equipment that requires flexion extension or movement of the wrist; grasping; manipulation using hands and/or fingers; etc.

  • The incumbent is required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes safety glasses and/or hearing protection

Required Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-3 years of experience in cGMP Materials Management and warehouse operations.

  • Proficient in using electronic inventory and Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with DOT and Hazmat regulations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Syncade or similar MES platforms.

  • Prior experience with powered industrial trucks.

  • Familiarity with good documentation practices and cGMP requirements.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $21.15-$27.88


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location and internal equity.
