Job Summary
Location: Shelton Connecticut
A well-established community-focused healthcare organization in the Shelton Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join its collaborative and patient-centered behavioral health team. Position Overview
Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management
Develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients (child/adolescent interest is a plus if applicable)
Collaborate with therapists primary care providers and care coordination teams
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Optional teaching opportunities depending on interest
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
Active or eligible DEA registration
Strong clinical communication and team collaboration skills
Open to J1 and H1B visa sponsorship candidates
